Basquevolt promotes the development and industrialization of solid-state battery technology with the support of the PERTE VEC

Basquevolt’s participation is structured into two projects:

  1. R&D&i Project
    • Title: “Research on the industrialization process of cells responding to clients’ RFQs through the use of AI” (PP16 VEC-020100-2022-117).
    • Fundable budget: €685,480.30
    • Execution period: 01/01/2023 – 30/09/2025
    • Objective: to develop a new intelligent production model for solid-state cells through the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions.
  2. Training Project (in collaboration with CIC energiGUNE)
    • Title: “Training for the commissioning of the pilot line for cell manufacturing” (PP31 VEC-020400-2022-29).
    • Fundable budget: €24,600.00
    • Execution period: until 31/12/2023
    • Objective: to ensure the training and preparation of Basquevolt’s team for the development of solid-state cell technology and prototyping, leveraging the expertise and know-how of CIC energiGUNE, a world-leading research center in this field.

Basquevolt’s participation in PERTE VEC, through its R&D&i and training projects, represents a decisive step toward consolidating an innovative and competitive industry in the field of solid-state battery technology. The combination of advanced technological research, based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, together with the training of the human team in collaboration with a leading center like CIC energiGUNE, strengthens Basquevolt’s position as a strategic actor in the transition to electric mobility. These projects contribute not only to technological development and the industrialization of cutting-edge energy solutions but also to the enhancement of the electric vehicle value chain in Spain and Europe.
